Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I wouldn't normally post a non-beauty/style review on this blog but with spring and allergy/cold season upon us I felt this review might be of help to some.
I recently had the opportunity to try Pine Bros Softish Throat Drops.
I had never seen nor heard of this brand of throat drops before and was excited to try.
I have to admit at first try I couldn't decide whether I liked them or not. They had a very subtle flavor and the texture was something between a very hard gummy and a cough drop.

However, a couple weeks after receiving I was very glad to have these on hand. Some family members got colds and needed throat drops. They had never heard of this kind of drop either but I was met with raving reviews from them.

From someone who didn't like the normal medicinal flavored drops they loved these. Their favorite part of these drops were the subtle flavor and the natural elderberry ingredient.
My 8 and 9 year old brothers, one of whom had just come home early from school with a cold and cough, raved about them as well. They loved the texture of the drops and the fact that they didn't have a medicinal taste to them. I would recommend these as an alternative to regular cough drops.

Last but most importantly... they worked!
I would also like to try the honey flavor. Even though they take some getting used to their uniqueness I would definitely recommend these! The portable containers are great for traveling or throwing in your bag without worrying of spills. No one likes to find the fuzzy cough drops in the bottom of your bag! ;)

Pros:
unique texture
natural ingredients
reliable company since 1870
screw on lids for portability (plastic round containers)
subtle flavor
made in america

Cons:
minimal flavor
unique texture not everyone may like

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

  1. I still don't like the texture, lol! But glad it works for them. I'm going full on traditional drops :P
